Dear Ben,
Just a quick note to thank you and Glen and Fotron for the fantastic
service you’ve provided me and the Voice over the past several years.
I probably should thank you on behalf of all of our readers, too, who
see the results of your fine work in the newspaper every week, from
the front page photographs, to our Voices Around Town photos to the
many other photos which you develop for the Voice.
I am thankful for your expertise at the developing and processing
machine; on more than one occasion I know Glen has made adjustments to
the color and contrast in photographs to improve the results. I am
also grateful for your flexibility and speedy service in accomodating
me when I race in there on Tuesday afternoons with two or three rolls

This is to recommend the services of’ Ben Ngan, Fotron
One Hour Color Photo Processing, 143 Castro Street, Mountain View,
California.
Ben Ngan provides the best photograph processing service that I have
ever used in my 30 years as a photographer. As an amateur photographer
have shot photographs for many types of diverse events from weddings
to aerial photography, As a law enforcement photographer I am always
concerned about the clarity and correctness of color and I will only
use a processor who can meet my standards, When it has been necessary,
he has processed by film and provided me photos in less than an hour.
I began using Fotron’s services when I worked for the City of Mountain
View and shot pictures for several City functions as well as a number
of Chamber of Commerce functions. His work was of’ such quality that I
began using his services for my personal photographs and for the Santa
Clara Valley Council of the Navy League photographs we use in our
newsletter.
When I need exceptional clarity or blowups of photographs or rapid
processing in cases I work as a district attorney investigator, I
bring the work to Ben Ngan, He just completed making photographs from
over 100 negatives that I ordered for five Santa Clara County
attorneys to use in a very large superior court trial.
Not only do I continue to use his services, I have recommend Ben Ngans

Mr. Ben Ngan of the FOTRON store located at 143 Castro
Street has been developing slides and prints for the Mountain View
Fire Department for several years. During that time he has been called
on to provide top grade and high quality photographs for various fire
investigations. We sometimes require conversion of slides to 35mm
enlargemenls for public education or training. These photographs are
also used in court as evidence or in a public display. Mr. Ngan and
his staff have always provided top quality photographs and they have
been prompt, cheerful and accommodating when dealing with, any of us

Hi!
i hope you guys are doing great down there in Mountain View. it’s hard
to believe that summer’s already over, isn’t it?!!

old ones this time! It’s just that I don’t know anyplace else that
does as good a job as you do.

To all serious photographers;
I have been "atempting" to take photos for some 40 years, and Ben at
Fotron does the best lab work I've seen! There are less
expensive places to take your film, but it shows in their work.
There is no replacement for experience and prompt and courteous
service. A rare combination in todays world.
I trusst Ben with my film. His attention to detail and color is
unsurpassed. He has also been able to save several of my
